This practice is hands down perfect for every month, you don't really have to go all in with decorating all the page papers before binding them but I discovered that December and birthday month are especially magical so I do these two in a more special way. The rest of my monthly journals have just plain papers. Give it a try for January, it's a really good month for reflections.
